He Can't Even Use a Computer

I'm 25 years old. I like Barack Obama. I dislike John McCain. Many of my friends like Barack Obama. A few of my friends like John McCain. Right now I just feel embarassed for them
Money quote:
"Every time Obama had seven seconds when we spent the day together in South Carolina, he whipped out his Blackberry," recalled Noble. Contrast that to McCain's response when Politico's Mike Allen asked him whether he used a Mac or a PC: "Neither. I'm an illiterate that has to rely on my wife for all of the assistance I can get."
He can't even use a computer, and the Republicans want to trust this guy with our country?! Wow. I don't even know how to respond to that quote. The future of this country is wrapped up in technology, innovation, and the internet. Resting at the heart of all of that are computers. And this guy probably couldn't even turn one on if he had to.
How can you claim you're prepared to lead the United States of America when you can't tell the difference between a Mac and a PC. These have been around for decades (almost as long as McCain has been in the Senate), and he's never had the curiosity to learn how to do basic word processing or send and receive e-mails??? Even my 83-year-old grandmother learned how to do that. Not knowing how to use a computer in today's frenetic society is akin to living in the dark ages.
But I shouldn't get too up in arms. Just another advantage for Obama in the general election, as the article goes on to explain:
"There is a gap between people who are digital natives and people who are digital immigrants. Obama clearly has an advantage over McCain in that he is a more comfortable user of these tools," said Micah Sifry, founder of TechPresident.com, a blog that covers how the 2008 presidential candidates use the Web. And in the ways they use the Web, "campaigns are a reflection of the candidate," he added.
This is also a huge dogwhistle to younger voters. In a conversation I just had with one of my McCain-backing friends I brought this topic up, and he had no response. After all, "You don't need to know how to use a computer to be President," may have worked in 1980, but it sounds downright ludicrous in 2008.
Damn, Obama is going to thoroughly kick this guy's ass in November.
